This rare and very early killim from my personal collection needs to be mounted on a muslin panel. I did a little restoration work on the piece to replace bad repairs. For example, where brown wefts had been replaced with a mustard yellow yarn, in the borders, I redid those areas.  There is also a badly matched red patch in the upper part of the mihrab which I have intended to replace. Holes and areas which just have missing wefts can perhaps be left alone.
