Shahsevan Mafrash Panels Northwest Persia. Early 20th century Wool.  Slit tapestry, with tiny soumak bands. The colors are strong and clear on these panels, and they are in excellent condition. They would have originally formed the sides and ends of a nomad's bedding bag.
