Borchaliu Mafrash Georgia. Circa 1860 Wool, with white cotton.  Soumak.  19"x 47"x 12" high. This is a nomad's bedding bag or "cradle." Upended over a wooden box or foam block, this would make a beautiful ottoman or table. It is in excellent condition. Unfortunately, my improvisational method of propping up this bedding bag does not show the piece to best advantage.
