MARLA MALLETT: TEXTILES Malatya Kilim Fragment Eastern Anatolia. Early to mid-19th century. 33"x 72" Wool and cotton. Slit tapestry. This is a fragment from a two-part kilim. The other panel was more complete and in much better condition, so I had some minor repairs done on it.  You'll find it posted on our Anatolian Kilims-2 page.
