Malatya Kilim Fragments Eastern Anatolia. Before 1850 Wool.  Slit tapestry.  These are two panels of a lovely early Anatolian kilim, with vivid, vibrant colors. Small holes that interrupted the design have been expertly rewoven, but other frayed or threadbare areas have been left alone.
