Here are a few more contemporary textiles from Laos.  Most are hand-picked brocades; others are tapestry weavings. They are shawls, shoulder cloths, head cloths, and scarves. Most of the traditional designs have animal or mythological motifs that pertain to certain festivals or ceremonies.
