MARLA MALLETT Japanese Irosode Late 1920s or early 1930s. Rinzu silk with yuzen dyeing. 48"across the shoulders; 58"long. This formal kimono has three tiny embroidered mon on the back. There are a couple of very faint spots on the lower back; thus this exquisite kimono may be better for display than for wearing. It is an extremely soft, luscious silk, and is in very good condition.
