Japanese Haori Late 1980s or early 1990s. Man's silk jacket with painted landscape on the lining.   53"across the shoulders; 38½"long. This is a plain, light-weight black silk haori, with five mon (family crests) and decorated lining. It can be worn with either side outward, as desired, but is shown here turned inside out.
