Japanese Irosode Meiji period. Circa 1900. Woman's formal kimono of purple chirimen silk crepe with yuzen decoration.  Beautifully drawn phoenix motif. 49½"across the shoulders; 59"long. This very lovely kimono is in very good condition, but has a couple of small pin holes on the shoulder line.
