Japanese Haori Late 1930s or early 1940s. Woman's silk faille jacket with metallic brocaded landscape depicting temples and forested mountains. Unfortunately, the luster of the rose, green, peach and pink metallics is not evident in the photos, but they make a very luxurious, very dressy garment. It is 49½"across the shoulders and 33"long.
