Japanese Kasuri Kimono Taisho Era, early 1920s. Silk shantung kimono with design of small ikat blocks. 49"across shoulders; 55"long.  The upper lining is cotton, the lower lining is silk. With its very pretty deep bluish purple striated color variations, this kimono is in excellent condition.
