Ottoman Fragment Turkey.  18th century Gold embroidery with tiny silver sequins on sheer muslin.  8½"x 18." This is incredibly delicate gold embroidery.  It is partially lined with silk satin, and was probably a lady's dress sash.  There are slits in the fragile ground fabric near the edges and the piece needs to be mounted for framing.
