Katu Loincloth Attapoeu, Southern Laos Cotton, with twining. beads, and tassels. 18"x 160."  The beads on this piece are not sewn on; rather, they are threaded onto a weft yarn and pulled into place wherever they are wanted.  All of the orange and ivory-colored bands on this piece are twined--a very time-consuming process.
