Tai Daeng Tube Skirt Sam Neua area, NE Laos Silk brocading on cotton; weft ikat. 31"x 30." The border of this skirt, with its two-headed mythical creatures, was woven separately.  The body of the skirt is a interesting combination of weft ikat and wide brocaded bands.
