This luxurious, beautifully crafted ikat is recent--10 to 20 years old--and is in virtually perfect condition. It is from southeastern Thailand, near the Cambodian border, thus the similarity to Khmer ikats. In this photo you are seeing approximately 3/4 of the textile's length.
