Katu Loincloth Attapoeu, South Laos Cotton, with twining, beads and fringe.  13½"x 127."  This loincloth is thought to be about 20 years old. The beads are not sewn on, but rather are threaded onto the weft yarn and pulled into place as the piece is woven. Thus back and front sides are the same.
